Administration
Workspace Administration
Manage membership, invites, branding, ownership, and workspace settings.
Workspace Administration
The Workspace settings area is where admins manage the administrative side of RectifAI.
What admins can manage
- workspace name and identity
- workspace image
- membership
- pending invites
- member removal
- workspace-level administrative controls
Inviting users
Admins can invite users into the workspace and share invite links.
Important behaviors:
- invite links are tied to the invited email address
- invite links expire
- users must sign in with the correct Atlassian account to accept the invite
- if a user is already a member, accepting the invite is effectively idempotent
Roles and permissions
At a high level:
- admins can manage workspace configuration and operational settings
- members can access the workspace and participate based on the app surface they are allowed to use
Workspace access is membership-based. Knowing a workspace slug alone is not enough to access it.
Ownership
Workspaces also have an owner. Owner-only controls should be treated as higher-trust administrative actions.
Recommended admin checklist
When setting up a new workspace:
- confirm the workspace name and branding
- invite the core responders
- configure JSM
- configure chat and paging defaults
- define teams
- define systems
- declare a dry-run incident
