Integrations
Microsoft Teams
Add, use, and remove the shared Microsoft Teams OAuth integration for chat and meetings.
Microsoft Teams OAuth Integration
Microsoft provides a shared OAuth connection for Microsoft Teams Chat and Microsoft Teams Meetings.
Prerequisites
- You are a workspace admin in RectifAI.
- The connected Microsoft account can grant the requested Microsoft Graph permissions.
- Your Microsoft tenant allows the application and requested scopes.
- If tenant consent is required in your environment, the authorization must be completed by an appropriate Microsoft administrator.
Add the Microsoft Teams integration
- Open Workspace -> Integrations -> Chat -> Microsoft for Teams chat coverage, or Workspace -> Integrations -> Engage -> Microsoft for meeting coverage.
- Click Connect Microsoft Teams.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that should authorize the workspace.
- Review the Microsoft consent screen and approve access.
- Return to RectifAI and confirm the Teams integration shows as connected.
- If required, set Microsoft Teams as the default provider for Chat, Engage, or both.
Use Microsoft Teams in RectifAI
- Use one Microsoft connection for both Teams chat and Teams meeting workflows.
- Maintain incident chat coverage through Microsoft Graph-backed Teams access.
- Prepare and reuse Teams meeting coverage for incident response.
Remove the Microsoft Teams integration
- Open Workspace -> Integrations -> Chat -> Microsoft or Workspace -> Integrations -> Engage -> Microsoft.
- Click Disconnect.
- Confirm the provider now shows as not connected.
- If your tenant requires full removal, revoke the app from Microsoft Entra ID or your Microsoft 365 admin controls as well.
What happens after removal
- RectifAI stops using Teams for new chat and meeting workflows in that workspace.
- Because the Microsoft connection is shared, disconnecting it affects both the Chat and Engage categories.
- Existing Teams chats, channels, or meeting artifacts are not deleted automatically.
- Microsoft Graph subscriptions created earlier may remain active until they expire or are revoked on the Microsoft side.
Data handling
- RectifAI removes the stored Microsoft OAuth tokens for the workspace.
- Historical incident records stored in RectifAI remain under the normal retention policy.
- Microsoft-side content or subscriptions already created are not deleted automatically from your tenant.
